Default LED lights under frame

I want to add some bright LED light strips to the underside of my frame rails. I have seen a few guys with white lights at night and it gives off a very noticeable halo of light around the bike. Looking around there are about a million companies making and selling this stuff, I'd like some recommendations from anyone who has done this as to who makes quality components at a fair price. I'm only going to do this one section of the bike and only in white.

I would suggest SMD (surface mount diode) LEDs, a quick google search will bring them up. I previously had the standard LEDs and in comparison to the SMDs, they were not nearly as bright and took up more space. I took the standard LEDs off in exchange for the SMD LEDs. If you want to get an idea of what the SMD lights look like, head to autozone as most of their accessory lighting is now SMD LEDs.

Color will also affect how bright they appear. What color were you thinking?

Looking for white light. What about CD's Stingerz? Seems like good quality but pricey

Joe Florida, get them by the piece. Single color 9 or 18 led with 6' leads.

I had the Stingerz and switched them for the SMD leds. I didn't like my Stingerz after seeing my bike next to the newer LEDs - The SMDs were way brighter and easier to conceal since they are thinner. I did a single color kit from LED glow + some extra strips to make it right.

I just installed some that work great, very easy install (plug and play), multi-color option (change colors between about 16 diff colors via remote plus strobe and breathe features). Got mine through KeyLife. 36 LED (6 pods) for about $34 shipped.
