Headlights on when forks locked

Headlights on when forks locked
Working on a 1993 Ultra and it has an issue with the switch. I have disassembled the switch to make sure it was not installed previously backwards and it seems to be installed correctly. The problem is when you turn the switch to lock the forks the headlight comes on. Any suggestions? Twisted

Make one of these. It will get the switch aligned how it should be.

1983 models switch isn't made like this. I'm thinking there's a pinched wire. I'll let you know what I find later. Twisted
