Default Cruise control not working due to led tail light?

I have a 2010 Ultra Classic. I have had the same aftermarket LED tail light on the motorcycle for a little over 3 years. About a month ago the cruise control started acting up. It would work then I would ride about 15 minutes and right in the middle of being set it would shut off for no reason and not come back
on. After shutting off the bike then it would work again. I changed the cruise
control switch, that didn’t fix it.

I took it to the dealership to have them look at
it. They changed the front brake light switch and that didn’t help either. They put a stock brake light back on and they say it works now. I am going to pick it up tomorrow. Is it possible that the tail light would keep the cruise control from working? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Default

Its probably the load equilizer for the LED starting to fail, they (LED) has to have a very small power to them all the time , hence the load equilzer. But the cheaper ones will start to fail and pull more power and the cruise sees it as brake application.
