Default Brake lights fubared

2007 Road King Police.....when front brake brake is applied brake light stays on till ignition is switched off. I don't believe it's the brake switch sticking . I have tried to move brake lever forward to no avail, also light shuts off as I said when ignition is turned off. Turn ignition switch on and light stays out till lever is pulled. Also rear brake does nothing, brake light doesn't come on at all with rear brake applied. Am I looking for one problem or two separate issues. I thinking it's all related somehow.
Anybody got any ideas or had this happen before?
Also I have switched the brake relay and that didn't help either.
I'm stumped...

The rear brake light problem is probably a bad switch, or connection at the switch. Disconnect the two wires and touch them together, if the brake light comes on, you know the switch is bad.

If you tried a different relay and the problem remained, it is probably time to investigate the front switch.
