At times when I am riding down the road my volt guage will go down to 10 volts, turn off Ign once or twice and it comes right back to 14 volts !! Any Ideas have checked grounds and connections to the regulator and the ECM can't find anything wrong there !!!

 

Check all the connections in the battery circuit. If you don't have a bad connection, it's most likely the voltage regulator.

It's best to troubleshoot the charging system to verify that the stator is good first. Follow the stickys in this section to troubleshoot.
