Default question on wiring passing lights for 2010 FLHX

I recently purchased passing lights for my 2010 FLHX, these are from HD not another aftermarket manufacturer. I have installed the lights, they look awesome but I cannot get the white lights to work, I have the directionals but that is it. I was told to just put the grey/black wire in the same wiring harness along with the directional wires (obviously I did installed the male end of the gray/black wire)...from what I was told, this was pretty much a "plug n play" install. Even when I turn on the aux switch, I have no passing lights. I have to admit, the directions for these lights absolutely suck! Is there something that I'm missing there that is an easy remedy?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
