07 FXDB elec problem
Hey people,
Looking for opinions. I've got an 07 FXDB bought second hand had it for 2 years now. I've consistently had an issue where it takes 5-8 cranks of the engine before it starts. Sometimes I get a pretty rough grind sound when it attempts to fire and doesnt. I've been through 3 batteries on this bike even tho when tested I'm told the battery is good. The 2nd battery I had actually melted on the negative lead. Harley has checked the bike out on 2 occasions and cleared it so they say. My most recent battery Is one year old I took it in to Harley last week and then verified it's good. Unfortunately unless it is fully charged it won't start my bike.
I'm constantly pulling the battery to place in charge. I'll get 2-3 days on a full charge before the engine turns 8+ times never fires and I don't have enough juice to start. Any thoughts on where my issue could be ?
It's got ab10k miles no other issues and it's got a power commander with aftermarket pipes. That's ab it.
Thanks
