Rinehart 2-1 For Sale - $400 OBO
Rinehart 2-1 pipe for sale, part number 200-0302 Chrome w/ Chrome End Cap. Used for a little over a month < 250 miles. This pipe was purchased new in box for a local swap meet. Deep throaty tone - roars when you twist the wick, but is pretty mellow at cruising speeds. I'd rate it a 8-1/2 out of 10 for overall condition. I'm asking $400 OBO SHIPPED TO LOWER 48. The sale will include all hardware and mounting accessories. 2012 and newer models will need 02 sensor adapters - I will include these for free if you need them. You will need to purchase the flat (not tapered) exhaust gaskets for installation - not included with sale. As of today the pipe is still on the bike and will be removed later in the week.
There are a few issues with the pipe and I have included photos below - pipe is still in great working condition regardless.
First, the clamp Rinehart supplied to connect the muffler to the header collector is absolute garbage - had to purchase a new torca clamp of a thicker material and leaves about 1/16 to 1/8 gap between the muffler body and collector heat shield.
Next, there are a few fine scratches adjacent to the collector heat shield - using the original Rinehart clamp allowed the rear of the collector heat shield rub against the muffler body.

Lastly, one side of the end cap does not make perfect contact the muffler body. This is manufacturer's defect that Rinehart would not warranty as I did not purchase this pipe from an authorized dealer. After some research I learned I am not the only person this happened to. It appears to be an issue with the baffle being to long and with the expansion from heat it causes this to happen. A small amount of air and be felt from this gap while the bike is running and carbon will build up on the face of the end cap as a result. My quick fix was going to be swapping the chrome end cap for a black one.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via PM.
