i have a 2006 fxdci,do you know if it will fit?(frame change in 06) in the picture i dont see the front chrome tab,did you take it off? do you have it.i'm interested if it fits.thanks,ed.part # ?????

 

Been in contact with Ed (above poster) via cell phone and pics.
Going to try to figure out exactly whatyear this will fit/work on.
I certainly dont want to sell it to someone and not have it work.

The seat belonged to a VERY close friend of mine and he passed away last fall (brain cancer)
He sold his Harley in 07 to buy a bike like mine. Sorry, I can't recall what year his bike was. (nice friend huh?!?!?)

there is a number on the tab in the front that should be all you need just google it
it looks like a badlander AX seat, (AX is the design in the seat) I just sold a AX stripper seat on eBay for $175 + shipping, it was for a WG and did not fit my FXDXT about 1/2 an inch to long so I drilled a hole in the fender

 

Thanks for the info but the # is very tough to read as it looks blurred from the factory (not the best way to adhere a part #)
