Most of the harley seats I see in distressed leather are too light. Is it really as dark as it shows in the pic?

I've never seen the passenger pavilion with the extra leather hanging out the bottom. Is that the way they come?

I just treated the seat with HD leather dressing right before photos. The leather looks really dark right after you treat it. It lightens back up over time as the dressing is absorbed by the leather. The "bib" under the pillion is rigid and is one with the pillion I think...I never tried separating them.

 

This seat brand new at surdyke HD is 238 (without the passenger pavilion)
