Dangit. I've been looking for a good used fender for a long time. Let me know if it falls through, I will take it for sure.

For reference, they are not the same. The WG fener has more of a lip on the bobtail. I don't even think the strut width is the same between the fat bob and older wide glides.

 

According to the dealer they are both part #59925-06.

Looking closer at the pics, you are correct! Not the first time the parts dept has given me bad info. Guess I'm lucky someone else got it first.

The Fat Bob rear fender has an 08 part # for when the bike was introduced. The Fat Bob and new 2010+ Wide Glide share strut widths, about an inch wider than the other Dyna models of similar years.
