Default Parting out wheels?

I've had the stock wheels for my 10 FXDC sitting around here for better than a year now, not much interest in them locally and those that have been interested become less so once the cost of shipping comes into play so I'm thinking about parting them out and selling the parts seperately, seems a shame but I'm really like to not have them taking up space. My question is whether there would be better interest in the parts, specifically the hubs, spokes and rims, the brake rotors, pulley and probably the tires should be easy enough to move. This isn't a for sale ad, just looking for ideas to get them out of the house.

I have bought individual pieces for my wheels on eBay before. It was much cheaper buying parts than the whole wheel. I would post on eBay as a set and box them together, maybe the shipping won't look so bad then. Did you try Craig's List? I sold the original front end of my kid's Nightster (has a Fat Bob front end now) in about 2 hours there.

I buy on ebay now and then but their fees have got so bad I have pretty much given up selling anything there. I have been doing craigslist pretty much constantly since pulling the wheels off the bike, got a few bites but they either don't reply back or make arrangements to come get them but find something else in the meantime so that is what's got me thinking of just parting them out.

What wheels did you replace them with and where did you buy your new rims?
