If anyone is looking to lower their Bob I have a set of 11" 430s with about 4K miles on them. I'd like to trade them for another set of 430s or 440s in black in a 12" or 12.5". I'm going a different route with my bike so going to raise it back up to stock or a bit higher.

Yes I would sell them outright, just would need to order a replacement set. I think i paid $450 but was just looking on eBay and saw a new set for $383 shipped. I'm not sure what they are worth...$225 shipped? PM me if you are interested and we can figure out something I'm sure.

 

$225 sounds fair. I have to make a few more posts in order to PM so I will PM you soon. In your opinion, will these shocks ride much differently than the stock shocks on my superglide?

If you're looking for 430 progressives, you better have the seller check stock for you. Progressive has not shipped any 430 shocks since before Dec (sometime), 2011. They are still (as of yesterday) on back order because Progressive has not made any since Dec due to some sort of quality issue with the machine shop making a part for them. I have had mine on order since January and talked to the online store yesterday and the 430's are still on back order with no idea how long it will be before Progressive starts getting them back out to the dealers. I also got a phone call from someone at Progressive about it, and he verified all this saying they had no idea when they would start selling them again. I'm thinking about canceling my order and going with some Ohlins, or Works shocks.

 

Good to know. I bought these in February 2011 and they have had zero issues. I'm guessing the issue was with later production runs.
