Hi what's the interior and exterior dimensions from bar to bar on the bottom portion of the sissy bar where it connects. I have a 04 fxd and need a taller bar and pad.

Inside base is 6 7/8" and the two holes are 12 3/8" center to center. The slot is 2 1/4" ahead of the back hole.
The top of the bar is 22" from the bolt centerline.

 

It might work, i'm attaching a picture of a sissy bar if you could verify the measurement and tell me the missing one that would be awesome! thanks

 

We aren't quite on the same page just yet. Will these help?
My 6 7/8" is the outside of the sissy bar and the inside of the base plates.

 

Ah ok, i'm with you. I was really only going to use the sissy bar as my dyna already has the plates my wife just needs something taller. but it appears my current setup requires a wider base, the outside bar dimensions of yours need to be my inside dimensions.
