Default **SOLD** Progressive 412's

P/N: 412-4037B

Standard Progressive 412 11" shocks for sale. These are the black, uncovered version. They have less than 500 miles on them. They are too stiff for my 165 lbs.

$125 shipped via UPS, Paypal only.

Question for you, I am about 160-165 and have been considering these for my Bob.

Did you adjust any of the settings on them or are they simply just too stiff compared to stock?

I really wasn't aware that these were meant for heavier loads or anything like that.

The heavy duty springs are for heavier riders.

Yes, I played with the settings. It came down to this: these lower the bike which means there is less room to soak up a bump, therefore to prevent bottoming they need to be set stiffer than stock. It is a tradeoff, you can get a better ride but have to accept you will bottom a lot or you can have a stiffer ride and not bottom.
