I have a 14" tinted Wind Vest windshield ($366.00 new) in mint condition. I'll take $100.00 plus shipping.

Default Hardware

Yes, it's the whole thing. I took it off a show bike I bought. The thing was never ridden, so everything is cherry. I just don't care for windshields. I hadn't heard of Wind Vest but it turns out that they make excellent quality aftermarket stuff. This was $366.00 new. I was suprised that it was so expensive.

Do you happen to have a part # ? I just don't know how they mount. I would hate to buy and then have it not work with my bike .

Default WIND Vest

I thought it said "Wild Vest" but it's Wind Vest. Oops.

It has no part number on it. It's pretty generic, clamps onto the handlebars and rests above the headlight. I had it on a 2000 FXD but I don't think that the configuration of the handlebars has changed since then. Actually, on your bike it would be even better because of the speedometer not being in the way. On the FXD, the speedometer is above the handlebars like a sportster but your is on the console.

You can view it on the Wind Vest wesite:

Default Oh

One other thing: you could go to my profile page a blow up the picture of my FXD. When you do so you could imagine it mounted on either side of the handlebar bracket with the speedometer between the handlebar and the windshield. It is about a 4" clearance. The speedometer just fits.

I put it on my '07StreetBob (that I'm getting rid of) and it fit perfectly. Looked great. I just don't want a windshied, otherwise I'd keep it.

Do you have a picture of it? Is it clear, or tinted?
