After about 500 miles I have discovered that I just can't get used to riding position the mod puts me in. It's totally my fault since Allen did exactly what I asked him to do as far as riding position. I can see now I should have told him to keep me in the original position rather than back and down.

From a comfort standpoint, the seat is a keeper. The double decker memory foam mod is a night/day transformation. When you sit on this seat you can feel yourself sink in as the memory foam conforms to the contour of your butt.

Allen has offered to re-do the seat to my satisfaction, but I think I'm just going to get another Wide Glide seat and let him do it from scratch rather than tear into this one again. (Click hear for a photo documentary of Allen's modification of this seat.)

The price of the double decker mod is $140.00. I will sell this seat for $150 plus shipping. PayPal or Money Order. This seat will fit all Dyna models 06 and up.

 

Is this rider and passenger for that price?

 

The Wide Glide seat is actually a one-piece seat. The passenger section is just covered separately and has its own foam section, so it looks like a separate passenger pillion. Here is a pic of the seat with just the driver seat cover removed as Allen started doing the mod. You can see the passenger section still has the cover on.

I'm looking at doing something to my '07 wide glide seat.

 

I don't think so. I want a recent take off, or I'm going to order a brand new Wide Glide seat from Zanotti for Allen to mod.
