It doesn't have the gel insert, but to be honest it doesn't need it. It has the perfect balance between firmness and softness. It's the most comfortable saddle I've ever used.
The backrest is fantastic on really long rides, and when it's removed the scoop of the saddle still provides a lot of support for your lower back.
The only reason I'm selling it is because I sold my Wide Glide. If I had a bike that it fit on, there's no way I would sell it!
