Folks, I don't post much, just no time and other things going, but I have decided to switch out my pipes. I have a cpl of pic's posted on my Gallery, and I just love the look, the Extra POWER, these pipes, and my FP3 tune give it, however, they are just too loud

My Neighborhood, is too quiet, and I'm usually the "Good Neighbor" But Holy ****, these pipes give just a Booming, Deep Sound, that kids fillings are falling out.

As I said, they look great, I'm the only one on Bike Nights with them, the Chrome is Rich and Deep, with the Akro quality you expect. These pipes only have about 100 miles on them, I have a grand total of 219 miles on the bike

I paid $668 for them..and I'm going to sell for $400. (Paypal transactions)

Akro makes some OUTSTANDING pipes for Euro, and rice...but I have not seen a Harley pipe of theirs I could stomach. Not sure why they didn't pull it off, they really do have some cool stuff.

Those are definitely not my taste. No crossover either? Put a halfway decent 2:1 on there and you'll be amazed at the performance difference you'll get.

It's interesting how bad akro fails on harleys in design. I love Akro...wish they made a carbon pipe 2 into 1. I'd be all over it. My dual akros on my r1 yamaha growls as loud and deeper than my harley.
