Cobra FI2000R PowrPro + XiEDs
#1
Putting feelers out for any interest in my tuners. I have a Cobra FI2000R PowrPro auto tuner and a pair of Nightrider XiEDs.
I run them together because they compliment each other by operating separate in the open and closed loops of the fuel injection.
The FI2000R works in open loop (before operating temperature, under load, during acceleration, etc.) by reading the info from your O2 sensors 80 times per second and automatically adjusting to optimum fuel to air ratio. The XiED system works in closed loop (when cruising at steady speed, etc.) by adding a resistive load to the O2 sensor signal, which causes the EFI to think it's leaner than it is, and thus increasing the fuel to help the bike run more smoothly and cooler.
I am more than happy with both and have definitely noticed a positive response from my bike, I'm just considering going a different direction with my tuner. I'm thinking I want something a little more hands-on and adjustable.
The FI2000R is $600 new and the XiEDs are $100 new. I was thinking I'd like to get half that out of it ($350), or best REASONABLE offer, shipped in the continental US. Willing to ship elsewhere on the buyer's dime. I'd prefer to sell as a package, and really it's a killer setup when run together!
Here's a link to the FI2000R:
