I just happened to read some of the previous posts i must have overlooked before.I am not a fan of the wrap, nor did I put it on the bike, the pipes are all blued out, not black, I have only left the wrap as is because I didnt know the condition of the pipes. Its not my thing but if i have to choose, i choose the wrap for now until i get a different set of pipes. Id have bought them already but other bills come first. It will change I assure you all.

instead of an out right black theme, why not accent your chrome with black poppers. that way the black pops out of the chrome.. for starters, black out the battery band.. thats a good start there.. a good Krylon hi-gloss black, will make the band just jump off the chrome..
I dont see a reason to swap out the chrome for black when all you have to do just (as emiryl the chef says) Pow it. with a lil black

lol its easier to trade chrome for black thats why I dont want to paint stuff, lol Im not a chrome person except for accents and sometimes pipes. On another note I took the heat wrap off, pipes are blued, might just take em off this weekend and scuff and paint them for now and paint em black, you have to understand these pipes arent your typical dyna pipes, they are from a softail, the previous owner put these on and put some black tips on the ends to make the exhaust look even instead of staggered. The wrap covered the blueing and also hid the backyard engineering of the exhaust tips. I may just have to break down and get the stock ones from a guy in ohio that offered em to me cheap, then just look around for some slipons for now till i go and buy the pipes I want.
