It does at that, especially with that smooth rear fender sitting so tight. Your bike is a very sharp package.

I thought your screen name was Scooter WRench at first.[sm=laughingsmilie.gif]I ride down to Fernandina once in a while.BTW I learned the hard way that Amelia Island Plantation is not M/C friendly. I also used to hang out in St. Aug. a lot back in the 80's. Welcome to the Dyna forum, neighbor!

Fernandina is one of my favorite places in the world. We are supposed to ride to The Surf this weekend after our HOG meeting. Fernandina is where we go to get away when we don't have the time to really get away. I'd love to find out how you discovered that Amelia Island isn't M/C friendly though. Something tells me there is quite a story to that! The Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island cultures are so contrasting. You have the extremely rich mingling with beach bums sharing the same island. We are only about ten minutes from St. Augustine and spend a lot of time down there as well. We are so blessed to live in a great location where there are so many places to ride at all times of year. Maybe we'll run into each other sometime!

 

It'sAmelia IslandPlantation that isn't M/C friendly, even for property owners according to the security folks. The rest of the island is great, but don't try to go on the Plantation on a bike- they'll make you park in the employee lot at the security gate and take a shuttle to wherever. I learned this on arrival (meeting some friends for the weekend) and was not a happy camper. But I love it down there, too. Up until a couple of months ago I had a business in that area, but I still plan to get over there regularly even without that excuse.
