Stainless or Black pipe FXDLS

I've decided to go with a Local Exhaust maker Fab28 industries for my FXDLS but now I'm not sure if I wanna go with a black pipe or a stainless one that changes colors. The main question I have is can you Cherakote later on if I decide I wanna go all black?
