So I went to blackout my chrome air cleaner cover, and one thing led to another...lol. Quickly escalated to anything chrome that I could easily do...and add a Vrod fairing to the mix.

Thanks! It's always a fine line between looks and performance...gonna start on the performance side of things now.........unless I get a set of 12" black powder coat apes I've had my eye on.

Yes how easy was the vrod fairing? Does it offer any wind protection at all? Either way I like the looks. Also, did u just plasti dip the ac cover? Been thinkin bout doin that on mine.

The fairing is the easiest mod I've done. There's a cup bracket that fits on the back of the headlight, and the fairing mounts to that...took 5 minutes.

The air cleaner was plasti dipped, but the crap was wearing off...never have much luck with that stuff. Just flat black rattle can job with some matte clear over it. My horn cover is plasti dip though.

The fairing doesn't really offer any wind protection...just looks cool. Hehehe
