The big downer here is that it looks like you'd have to remove your pipes every time you wanted to check the oil.
that's what I's think! Someone already tried it a while back and he had a biatch of a time to check his oil, then every oil change same story

Your V-twin with short pipes will benefit from quiet baffles in performance and sound. If you do not order the quiet baffles and install them first then you will have to remove the pipes again. The stock baffles are nothing more then a slightly smaller pipe inside the exhaust. (it's basically a wide open pipe from the engine exhaust to the pipe outlet)

For that style bike, those pipes match it perfectly. Bad a$$ brawler, No BS Fat Bob. Looks sick, sounds sick....just another opinion =)

Don't forget exhaust gaskets, air intake and a tuner. Damn it gets expensive.
I have the same opinion on these pipes. I do know V&H haven't tried these pipes on the 103 yet... no idea why...

You guys make a good point about checking/changing the oil... that would be a PITA to take the pipes off every time.

maddghost, do you happen to have the thread where someone tried it a while back?? I would be interested in looking at that.

Thanks again

Right, but is the 103 set up the same or will it get in the way?

I have a set that came off my '09 collecting dust in the basement. They do have the crossover. Why would there be a clearance problem with the rear pegs on a '14?

Not so worried about the rear pegs, its the dipstick that is the concern.

I can still check and change the oil on my 103 street bob without removing the exhaust. You will need o2 bung adapters though.

Can you post some pics and give a few more details for the install. I've been trying to figure out how to make these with on my 14 street bob.
