Default Burly Fork lowering kit, confused....

I have a 2014 streetbob. Bought the burly front lower kit and it came with 2 long springs and 4 small ones. No washers. I thought it was a dropin kit but the instructions say take it all apart, drain oil, etc.

Also mentions using the 1 long and 2 short or 1 long and 1 short with spacer, depending on the size of the stock rebound spring.

Does anyone have experience with this kit ?
I only want to go 1 inch lower. So from what I can tell is I drop in the long one, drop in a short one, put in a washer, cut the PVC so it sticks up about 1/2", then the cap. Seems I'm missing a washer...

Does this seem right?

Also on the burley website/instruction page they list 2 front fork kits.
a 41mm and 39mm

Isn't this bike 49mm ?

Here's the instruction sheet that came with the kit.
Bought off revzilla and it says "this fits my bike"

I would use one long one, one short on, washer, then spacer. That's what I did but it dropped it Bout 1 1/× inches with the PVC spacer cut down to one inch. On your bike you do not have to do anything besides move your bars and loosen the caps. Not sure why your kit is different than mine was and has 4 short springs.

You must've bought the progressive kit which is more straight fwd. Burly made things complicated...or I'm making them complicated.
