Been contemplating using the mounting system off of the Switchback saddlebags on FLH bags and found a great deal on eBay!!! For both inner and outer mounts on each side with the bags locks, grand total came to about $190. Now I just need to get the lower fender mounts, the docking hardeware for the fender and I'll be able to start doing mock up soon!!

Never thought I would find those cheap and in excellent shape!! Sometimes ebay does bring me good luck haha!

If I remember correctly, you have glass bags correct? Based on the inner bracket, it looks like you'll be adding some room to your bags via some glass rework. Looks like you'll have to glass over the touring shock cutout to make that area flat on the outside of the bag and then cut out the shock cutout and reglass the inside of the bag, pretty much sqauring out the inside of your bag. Nice part is that you'll have a complete blank surface to work with, letting you put the bags anywhere you want in relation to the shock. When you get the hardware to add the bottom bag support, do the bag side first and then aline the fender mount. Best part of this deal is that your setup will also be detachable. Can't wait to see pics.

 

My bags are ABS. So I'll just make sure to bind te fiberglass good to the plastic
