Default stock rear shoc adjustment

I have yet to find any helpful information on adjusting the rear shocks on my '06 Street Bob. I had them adjusted for a two up full load and now I will be solo and would like to adjust to how it should be. Other then turning the rear shocks to tighten or loosen the tension what should I be looking for? Thanks Terry

Adjusting the preload is all you can do unless you swap springs. The unit is sealed so to change the damping you would need to replace them.

Use3 your preload settings to set the sag the best you can. Measure how high the rear fender sits with no one on the bike. Next you sit on the bike and measure the fender height. The difference between the 2 should be about an inch. Set your pre load to get as close to this as possible.
