Default 06 dyna rear axle

Hi folks... I'm having my tires replaced on my o6 Low Rider and my mechanic is having a hard time removing the rear axle. Any suggestions?

Probably rusted to the bearings. Put anti seize on it before reinstalling.

if he uses a punch just make sure it is a thin longer punch so it does not flare out the thread area.

+1 on replacing the bearings if they have to beat the axle out.

The dealer tech destroyed my rear axle when replacing the factory tires on my Low Rider. Nobody had an axle in stock, I waited 4 weeks for my bike.
