RE: Slip on's a little louder than stock
I just put a set of SE Slash Down Mufflers P/N 80493-07 on my 07 FXD 187 miles after I bouht it. They weren't much louder then the stock mufflers when I put them on. After 300 miles they are a little bit louder. I'm going togive then untilthe 1,000 mile service to burn in.
There is 2 T26 Torx bolts (the security type) that look like like they hold the baffles in.

RE: Slip on's a little louder than stock
I got Rush slip ons and they are loud. We have loads of high-rises around here and when I am on a twisty going home the noise bounces off buildings. I am yet to start a car alarm but that's because there are a lot of new ones here and I need to find some cars that are sensitive to exhausts. I'll report back later...
