I think the FXDXT fairing looks good with anything! In the pic I posted above, my bike has apes (it now has t bars).

Do any of these fairings actually work or are they more for looks...I have tried a few over the years with very little success...

yes sir it is, cut out and glassed in the old turn sig location, glassing an inner fairing, everything is giong to be plug and play and the whole thing will weigh under 15lbs with full stereo inside. no more heavy weight on the forks to mess with my pre load

Some work better than others. The fxdxt work better than the HD 1/4 and the HD 1/4 works better than the ness. Depends how much wind you want to keep off you. Can you still feel wind???? Yes. Is it blasting you in the chest at 80 rolling down the freeway ??? No

Exactly. The fxdxt fairing is obviously not going to block as much wind as a batwing but it does a great job of knockingit off your middle section. I had an HD 1/4 and it didnt do much at all IMO...but the fxdxg fairing is another story, I think it works great.

Here's my FXDF with a newly installed fairing. This one is from Phil Birch in the Netherlands.

I promise to clean the bike if the temperature ever gets above 10C !!!

I've got a dougz fairing on my fat bob but with some headlight problems I've had lately I've been contemplating swapping to a single headlight and either fxrt or at least fxdxt fairing
