Who else has cams in a 88"?
So I'll be doing SE 204 cams in my 06' street bob here shortly, and I noticed pretty much everyone with the 88" has done a big bore. Is anyone out there like me NOT going big bore but still did cams, a/c, exhaust, ect? Trying to figure out if anyone else is satisfied with their power with this combo w/out going big bore?

Yes and Yes. Woods TW6 Gear drive cams (no more cam chain tensioners)...kept the 88, but if I knew more... would probably get a different cam profile for more torque, flatter curve. If I were to do it again...i would also do the big bore kit, but my reasoning was....wait till I need to change it before I spend the money.

'01 TC 88 with S & S 510 gear drive cams. Went as big as I could with the stock valve train.
Nice idle and a noticible difference from mid-range up.
At 80, fuel milage is more than acceptable, almost 50.
It is a carbed motor and rejetted per S & S.
Also have a Ness Big Sucker and a Supertrapp 2 into 1 exhaust. I do not know how many discs in the pipe.
Very pleased with the set up.
