2014 Low Rider
#7791
I didn't have the cajones to go out in 35゚ this weekend. Some white stuff coming tomorrow, I don't think I'll be riding again until mid March.

35 is too cold for me these days. Need 50 minimum for me to ride.

Supposed to be 42° today, thinking hard about a small ride.. I installed a new phone mount so I can use my new Dragy... Itching to do a couple of test hits with video..
Shooting for low 11's.. But might be too cold for traction..

Hope are able to get out. I will be waiting until March to ride again. Roads to salty in my neck of the woods.

I was able to get out today but unfortunately with the Dragy you got to make sure you have a good satellite connection and where I was it was spotty. I did two test hits but they never got recorded because like I said satellite was in and out. Damn it... I got to go find a new spot now.. I don't think that's going to be till next week now... damn it...

When I lived upstate NY just 4 hours from long Island I had the same.. Long Winters and lots of salt.. But down here on Long Island we don't get those frigid temps and not a lot of salt either.. Pretty common to get a couple 40* days every now and then and sometimes even in the 50's... Never really go more than 3 weeks without some kind of ride, even if it's only a quick 20 miler.. Enough to satisfy the itch.. What sucks about living here though is the cost of living and taxes.. A typical ranch is anywhere from $450k to $700k and taxes for that can easily be $12-18K.. Oh yeah and not a lot of places to ride to, I get off the island every couple of months to get some real riding in..

I still have friends and family in Queens, Massapequa and my son lives in Long Beach. I dread anytime we go, just so much traffic.
Where the heck do you ride an Long Island, so much traffic.
