I was just at the HD website looking at the the Low Rider S. A $17,500 bike is $20K after you add ABS and all their bullshit. That's before you add tax and any mods like exhaust, tuner and tune...$23K for a new LR? Not right now...

I like the 117 LR but would not shell out that kind of money for one. My current LR still has plenty of life left in it.

The so called Low Rider S is a beautiful bike but am I the only one who doesn't consider this a Low Rider? To me it is a Softail (Softail frame, oil bag...etc).

It is not what I would consider an original (OG) LR. But it is what HD now offers as a LR. I demoed a 114 Fat Bob back when these softtails first came out. They do ride nice.

I would think it's a mix between a dyna and a Softail without a doubt.. I wouldn't call it a lowrider though.. The front end is a true Dyna and so is the stance but the suspension in the rear? no!!
I bet they handle pretty good though... How much ground clearance do they have? Are they over 6 in"

From all the reviews I read of the new softtail "Dynas" the new suspension is an improvement over true Dynas. Also more ground clearance. I rode a 2018 Fat Bob 114 and it rode nicely. I plan to demoing the LR S and LR ST if they are on the truck when it comes to my area.

As much as I am intrigued by the LR S 117 and LR ST 117, I am in no hurry to get rid on my 2015 Dyna LR.

Me too...I have a little over 18K miles, and the Bagger. I maintain the two bikes religiously, and they're paid for...no new bikes for me for a long time. I'm getting older, and if those two bikes stay in good mechanical condition, I may never get another bike. After I got back from the gun club yesterday, I jumped on the LR and took a quick ride for about an hour...
