What a great story and find! I originally wanted a Jade Green LR but my dealer could not get me one. Be sure to update us on your LR experience.

That is what I am thinking. I have been thinking about that LR ST a lot over the last few days since I saw on the HD website. I could not find any videos on youtube with someone who actually has one. Guessing that it might not be really available at present.

I love everything about the LR - the look, sound, smell, feel, ride position, handling. Everything.
My mate who was looking at a 2018 Fat Bob walked out with a 2022 Low Rider S. That sales guy is employee of the month.

We had a great day demoing, weather was chilly in the morning but warmed up to about perfect riding weather. Was a little busy so we didn't get to ride as much as we wanted, ended up riding 4 bikes total. Road king standard, heritage softail, CVO street glide, and road glide limited.

They had about everything there with the exception of the LR ST (which I don't think has hit any dealers yet, i could be wrong) and I don't believe I saw any sportsters other than the new sportster S.

We are wanting to go touring frame we just can't quite agree on the which model to buy. As far as sheer comfort out of the box we both really liked the road king, road glide limited was great for her but felt very cramped for me. CVO street glide has a low profile seat that neither of us liked very much. Surprisingly I felt like the heritage softail had the most room compared to any of the touring bikes. She didn't care for the seat on the heritage but I was super comfortable, bike felt light, balanced, and powerful even with 2 people on it. They did an excellent job with these new softails.
I am 6'2" and also feel the softail heritage has more room than the HD touring bikes. I tried to make an Ultra Classic work but after changing seat, floorboards and added extensions I gave up and bought the Indian.

That is a work of art that should be in a museum.

Perhaps just a limited showing during the winter months in a museum. Do you even have winter where you live?
