I considered it, problem is the location you typically move it to is taken up by the ignition switch. I no longer have an ignition switch so I could have moved mine there I just never bought the corresponding bracket and horn to fit on the left hand side.

I did. I used bracket off of an older model to mount it between the jugs. I used a newer horn cover and the loud horn, all HD parts. My 2017 low rider had a jumper that went from the old location between jugs to the down tube area. Simply unplug jumper and the wiring part is done. Now I have a legit horn shaker that is much louder.

After over a month, my low rider is finally back home, with its rear fender renovated, it's ABS brake fluids changed, and the problem with the horn diagnosed and the relevant part now on order - it turns out to be a bcm fault; oh the joy (i.e. pain) of Canbus wiring! Apparently the part may arrive in the spring. In spite of cold and therefore salted roads, I had to take her out for a short ride; oh the joy of this bike - what a pleasure it is to ride. I hope there'll be at least a few good riding days before the winter really sets in.

I've had a few warm days and had a chance to wear off the remaining rubber before I installed a new set of shoes the other day...

My account got screwed up somehow. Just put a new set of shoes on my 2015 with ABS. There is a metal bracket that attaches to the front left caliper that holds the ABS wire. Mine has cracked...new part will be ordered and replaced. Just an FYI...

Good to hear. I managed to get out twice within the last week for short rides. Weather in my area will allow me to get in a few more rides next week into early December.

You get a lot more warm days than I do. However, I got about 4 good riding days in the upcoming week.
