Today is the first day that restrictions have been relaxed again so that we can socialise outside with up to six people and we're not legally obliged to remain in our own locality; and surprisingly the weather was good too. So, with just over 7 hours in the saddle and 295.5 miles covered, it's been a good day.
What a diverse group of bikes. That is what I call a good day of riding.
Thank you. I used to own that Guzzi before I sold it to Tim! If anything, the LR is a little quicker than the Guzzi. Yesterday, he was leading, and I was the back-marker; usually the friend on the BMW S1000RR back-marks so he can fall behind and then race to catch up! He says he rides with us partly to help himself from going too fast all the time. Yesterday, the Ducati was directly in front of me most of the way and had way more acceleration than me. But our friendships go back a long way; we never overtake each other (except in exceptional circumstances, and then with great care), always watch out for each other, and just enjoy being together. We understand if anyone's getting frustrated and cut each other slack; sometimes the S1000RR and the Ducati race off together without us, and then wait for us to catch up. To be fair, we usually avoid 'motorways', preferring the more demanding, twisty lanes, which puts us more on a 'level playing-field'.
That's about what I figured...I used to do a lot of group riding, but it mostly all Harley's, so there was equality. It can be hard for different types of bikes to ride together...

In the USA you are going to have a ton of HDs riding together. In Europe, you are going to have a lot more diversity among bikes. In my area, it is mostly HDs. Maybe once a year I seen a European brand motorcycle. They are rare where I live.

In North Georgia there are tons of H-D's AND sport bikes...those boys LOVE the North Georgia mountains....
Finally getting a chance to go out and ride Sun. Been about 2 weeks since I last rode. It has either rained, been too cold or too windy. Sun is as perfect weather as you could ask for.

We do. Rode 100 today. Will ride another 100 or so Mon.
Weather has been exceptional...the only reason I didn't ride yesterday was because of Easter, but had a terrific day at the gun club on Saturday...will probably get some riding in this week...
Seems like every nice day around here that would be great to ride I have to work and for every day I'm off it's raining lol. Hoping to get some more miles in soon.

Same here. Last rode on Tues then the rain moved in. Will have to wait to next week to resume riding.
