Keep looking, they are out there.

I picked this up last August from Neal Ketner Motors in NC.

$10k shipped from NC to NY. Bike had 5500 miles on it.

Neal was great to deal with. I had the local HD dealer pick it up and do a Pre Purchase Inspection. Neal then arranged shipping and paperwork.

I look daily. Multiple times. I know more about dealer inventory than they do, haha. Found a cherry one last fall in WI but the dealer stopped responding. Usually I'll ask for more pics or video (since they offer that) and that's when a salesman disappears. Happened to a truck I found a couple hundred miles away too recently. I want a 16 or 17 LR in black with the red lettering but STOCK. Very hard to find.

Why a 16 or 17? There were extremely minimal differences between 14-17 other than colors in that time span, I think only difference was the 16 and 17 got the 103HO which makes barely any difference over the standard 103. I would keep my eyes peeled for any of them 14 and up and you will be a happy camper when you find the right one. It will be hard to find one 100% stock but if you find one with minimal mods you can always revert back to stock in an afternoon. I wouldn't want anything that has had the motor opened up but exhaust, lights, and trim are easy to swap back to stock and stock parts can usually be found for cheap.

Prices will only go up for the really clean low mile bikes. It will pay to scan your local craigslist and facebook market place in addition to cycletrader.

I want a 16 or 17 but will consider a 14.5-15. And believe me, I look every single day on every possible place.

Saw this on cycletrader:

I do not recall seeing that color before. Anyone else seen it? Bonneville Blue/Fathom Blue?

There are some real nice low mile garage queens that should start getting listed in the spring. All a matter of methodically searching for one. Got to check dealers. Ebay. Craigslist. FB Market Place. Cycletrader.

I don't think I've seen one in person but I so remember seeing pictures of it. I like the colors but prefer my tank graphics
