67 here yesterday and I was off work. So of course I went riding, just kidding, pouring rain all day. This has been a very mild winter with tons of rain here this year. We had 2 tornados touch down a few miles away from my house last week. I just had just gotten home from picking my son up and we huddled down in the bathroom and waited it out. Thankfully low rider tucked away cozy in the garage and no damage to my place.

Yeah, we've had some warm days and a very mild winter here in Georgia too, but tons of rain...ground is absolutely saturated and there's nowhere for the water to go at this point. The river has flooded twice in the last two weeks, closing my gun club, which is only about 2 miles as the crow flies, from my house...

45 degrees and cloudy here today with a little drizzle. A bit chilly but I rode to work anyways just so I could get some miles on the bike!

I went out for 57 miles yesterday (Pres Day holiday), it was very sunny and about 44. The roads were dry, but had lots of gravel & salt residue. My battery heated gloves quit too soon and my fingers were popsicles for the last half hour, which gave me renewed desire to install my heated grips. I'm going to do the mod to the left grip and clamp so I can route the wiring through the handlebar instead of zip tied to it (ghetto). This will require a Dremel and some patience.

I have heated grips on my Ultra Limited, and while they do help in really cold weather, they don't do much for the outside of your hands. I usually set them to a mid setting, full gets too hot, but your hands still get cold...

Yeah, I know there's no single perfect solution. A hand that's only half frozen is better than all frozen.

Looks like Sat will be in the mid-40s. Planning on getting a ride in as long as the roads look good.

How were the roads? I was going to ride today but the roads are still too salty.
