How did that happen?

And damn! A new tanks is $1000? Is your tank beyond repair?

Low sided on an on ramp. Tank damage is about the size of a baseball, maybe an 1/8" crush/scratch. I haven't gotten a quote to repair yet.

I was thinking about getting a quote to fix the tank and repaint in the 1977 scheme. Maybe add a red stripe to fenders. Thoughts?

That would not only be very cool but you would have a LR that would really stand out in a crowd of LRs. Paying tribute to the original LR is a great idea.

Thanks! I am going to have to wait though, considering all the scuffed parts that need replacing
