SO put mine down. Not too bad but the tank got whacked. A few shiny bits need to be replaced. New tank is $1000!

And damn! A new tanks is $1000? Is your tank beyond repair?

 

Low sided on an on ramp. Tank damage is about the size of a baseball, maybe an 1/8" crush/scratch. I haven't gotten a quote to repair yet.

For that money, you should be able to get a custom made tank, lol

 

I was thinking about getting a quote to fix the tank and repaint in the 1977 scheme. Maybe add a red stripe to fenders. Thoughts?

 

That would not only be very cool but you would have a LR that would really stand out in a crowd of LRs. Paying tribute to the original LR is a great idea.
