I have not had to change my filter but the oily mist does require me to wipe the filter down after every ride.

I figured since I am changing out ACs, I would try a catch can.

Also considering oil cooler and shocks (like you did).

Passed for now on the oil cooler. Have given thoughts to fans, but since our key location is where the fans normally locate. I will need to fab a different mounting system. Shocks make the bike much more enjoyable.

Why pass on the oil cooler?

I looked at your earlier posts on the shocks and did not see make and model. I always thought about Progressive 970s but they are crazy expensive.

Shocks are Fox Racing - Factory Street Performance IFP . Oil coolers work when moving, but sitting still in traffic they do not offer allot. A fan is better for cooling the engine during traffic. I don't spend allot of riding in Houston so don't need the oil cooler or the fan.

Thanks. Will be looking into shocks very closely. To me, a good set of shocks should be $500 not the $1000 plus that is being charged.

That is a good price. Will be looking closely at them. Did you have to do anything to adjust your belt driver after installing the new shocks?

Bought the shocks that were stock height. Everything fit like the stock shocks I took off. Easy install. Except now the ride is a vast improvement over stock.

It only rained twice this week, once for 3 days and once for 4. I need to ride!

I know the feeling. I have been able to ride only three times so far this year. About 260 miles total. Should get to ride again on Friday.
