Made it out today for a short 30 mile ride. Was only about 51 degrees out. First ride since late Nov 2018 (about 130 days). New battery working good.

Finally had a chance to put some miles in the bike since I changed shocks. Wow is all I can say. Vast improvement over the stock shocks. Handled and rode like a different bike. By far best add I have made to the bike to date.

My bike had Progressive Suspension rear shocks when I bought it, but I had to take them off because they were 11". Bike sat to low and rode to hard. Went to a 12.5" stock shock and made a lot of difference. If I were to change again it would be a high quality 12.5" or 13" shock...

Shocks is the one upgrade I am considering at the present. Thanks for the information.

Coming from sport bikes before the Harley always thought the handing was a tad subpar. Better shocks made it allot better.

Heading out Sat for my second ride of 2019. Cannot believe that but it is true. Plan on putting 100 miles on tomorrow.

Would love to hear from any new LR or LR S owners. There have got to be some that are out there. The LR and LR S is are great bikes and there have to be people out there buying some nice garage queens.

Haven't been out yet. Snow just recently left, and helped my daughter move this weekend. Hope to get out soon.

Ran across this 1984 Low Rider Shovelhead. What a great sounding bike:
