That may be why there is no S offered yet. They can't throw it all on the table at once. Maybe they're just trying to keep the excitement going. Having owned Mustangs I know they release a special model when sales start slowing.

Made it to a Demo event today to test out the Fat Bob 114. Got there a little before it started and was able to get 1st ride on the FB. Not many people there even though it is a nice day out. Suppose to start at 10 AM but waited an hour while the "road captains" scouted out a riding route.
I loved the 114 M8 engine. Lots of power for such a small bike. Since I was riding with a crowd testing out various baggers, I could not really give it a rip the way I wanted to.
The new clutch has a much longer engagement. Did not like that.
Also did not like the forward controls. Would prefer traditional mid-mounts.
Bike handled nice and got no complaints.
I wanted to try a Heritage 114 but the reach was a little longer than I wanted.

Agreed. Hope they do not just do another black LR S. Some paint options would be nice.

Agreed. I sense a LR S is in the future.

I just can't believe they added a much needed 2nd front disc, and then took it away!!! How stupid is that? Where's Willie G when you need him, lol

Is it possible it could be a better, stronger brake? Better pads, master cylinder, caliper, etc? Honestly I'm not wowed by by LRS front brakes. I'll test ride one this week to see how it compares to my LRS in braking, handling etc.
