what is the experience, with servicing and replacing parts?

I'm at 30k miles, and my transmissions just got an overhaul.

At the oil change, it was discovered that metal fell out of the drain.

I was also told by another friend to replace the lifters at 40k, otherwise the engine might get killed.

Do you guys do a scheduled replacement of parts at specific intervals, or whenever something breaks?

I usually wait till they break, unless its the cam chain tensioner or primary chain tensioner. I replaced my primary tensioner at 25K with a Hayden. Next up is the cam chain tensioners.

Trying to keep the miles down as I am close to hitting 20K and the next service. Just need to know what the 2018 LRs will be.

Seen a few people predict that the 2018 Dynas may get the 110 motor before a new Dyna comes out with the M8.

Me too as I do not want another black bike. Two more weeks to go before we all know about the 2018 LR or LR S.

Just about at 19000 miles. Hope HD offers some incentives on left over 2017s in case I need to LR S.

Took the LR to work today and tried the new helmet. I replaced a Shoei Quest with the RF-1200. Very quiet and comfortable. Love the red stripe and accent matching the color on the bike and stitches on the bags.
The bags though... Conely's gen 3. What a nightmare. Bought them back in April and today was the first time I could use them. They were hitting the swingarm on both sides... Had to fix it without Conely's help. I like how they work and look but it was not worth the hassle.
Next upgrade, LED headlight.

Interested in knowing this as well.

Have not had a chance to ride since Sat and I am needing a riding fix bad.

One more week to go before we know the deal with the 2018 LR and status of the LR S.

Hit 19000 miles today. 2 years and 3 months. A new record for me.

We will all know next week what 2018 has in store for the LR and LR S.

How about a LR CVO with the 114 M8?
