Have you had that motor dyno'd? What kind of sweet numbers is it putting out?

What did you do with the 103 motor it came with?

Only problem is 1.5 years ago I bought a 2015 XL1200C new and 0.5 years ago I bought a 2017 RGU new.

Maybe it will be worth trading in my Sporty but it's such a good bike for me when I'm running errands in NYC.

Kind of want a LR when I'm going longer distance rides solo. The RGU is when I'm with my lady, it's too much of a chore to use when I'm solo.
I traded in my '13, 1200 Iron for a '16 LR, no regrets. Mostly ride a SG, but love that LR in town.

Dyno set up conservative but 126HP/136 torque...
If I go to a more aggressive exhaust it would easily go to 135hp but torque may drop.
Also sold the 103 motor.....

How is the reliability of the 120R motor?

I'm under the impression the 120R is a racing type of engine. Maybe because of that it sacrifices dependability for performance.

Have you test rode a LR yet? If not, hit a Demo Day event. You may end up trading in the Sporty and riding home on a LR.

As for what is going on with the 2018 LR and LR S, nothing is known as of right now. I am hoping to see a CVO LR 117.
My father has a 2015 LR. Maybe I should switch my Sporty with him for a few weeks and see how I like it.

I put a Conely's T-sport fairing on it and picked up a SAn Diego Customs bar bag .

I only put 250 miles on it so far . Going to change the bars out next
How tall is that fairing. Looks great

If he is willing to swap, by all means test the LR out. I am so impressed with the LR that I already know my next bike will be another LR.

I love my LR so much compared to the other jap cruisers I've had, I think it'll be my "forever" cruiser.

At some point I might have to pick up an Ultra though for those long hauls...haha.
