2014 Low Rider

This is it so far. Should be getting Brake and Clutch lines this weekend to finish it up. I also changed the stock air cleaner with this PM maxHP.
Thanks to this forum, service manual and a couple of phone calls I was able to install everything myself. Never done anything like this before. Working in the garage with my kids was just awesome.

I have a Memphis Shades gauntlet fairing, I'll change that for a tall quarter faring but I have to wait a little bit, those get expensive. I'm still not set on a brand, have to do some research to get the best bang for my buck.

I just got done reading all 478 pages of this thread and now I want a Low Rider.
Only problem is 1.5 years ago I bought a 2015 XL1200C new and 0.5 years ago I bought a 2017 RGU new.
Maybe it will be worth trading in my Sporty but it's such a good bike for me when I'm running errands in NYC.
Kind of want a LR when I'm going longer distance rides solo. The RGU is when I'm with my lady, it's too much of a chore to use when I'm solo.

Looks
Looks solid! what bar bag are you using?

Right now it's a pistol pocket utility bag, starting to tear after a couple years of use and abuse in the weather though, looking at this one to replace it. Similar for a bit less...

Cool, I have a pair of saddle bags from them, pretty good for the money. Thanks for the tip.

Glad the thread was of assistance. Trade or sell the Sporty and get a LR. You will not be disappointed. I have never put the kind of mileage on any of my previous motorcycles as I am my LR. Ride it to work (84 mile round trip) every chance I get. Also run all the errands I can on it.
Any idea of what's going on for future LR models. I'm wondering if they will include the counter balance into the M8 when the include the M8 onto the Dyna class. I'm all for the counter balance on my RGU, really smooth perfect for tours. But on a Dyna I like that more raw feel. I also hear they may be doing chassis redesigns.

Yes the thread has been a great read. I think what I'll do is a wait a bit before pulling the trigger on the LR. This way I can also keep my Sporty. The bike has a place in my heart because it's my first Harley. I'd feel like I'd be letting it down if I sold it.

Have you test rode a LR yet? If not, hit a Demo Day event. You may end up trading in the Sporty and riding home on a LR.
As for what is going on with the 2018 LR and LR S, nothing is known as of right now. I am hoping to see a CVO LR 117.
