I love my FXDL, EXCEPT for the ugly little black horn. Does anyone make a chrome cover for it, to brighten it up a little anyway? I've searched google, but not come up with much.

Usually not a huge fan of green unless it comes to thin mints or cash but hot damn I am digging that paint!

I’m in that same boat actually, I picked this up last fall bone stock for a steal, and the green was a big -, not a +. I had intended to paint it, but, as my design kinda came together and I got rid of a ton of the ugly, I really like the green! We’ll see if it weathers the year or not.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was going for! Plus I find drag bars to be very comfortable since I spent years riding sport bikes.

Got up to 60 today. Went to start the bike and it would not start. Appears to be the battery. It is the original battery that came with the bike. It is not even 2 years old. Battery has been charged with a Battery Tender Jr that I bought when I got the bike. Battery was charged Sat and all appeared fine. Guess I now need to add new battery to the list of things I need (also new tires). Would have liked to have gotten more than 22 months out of a battery.

I feel your pain. Almost exact same scenario here ... Except when I am able to ride daily it starts easier. Also, in my case first star of day is most 'iffy'. After that it also gets better/easier. Also always on tender junior.

Ike, I had the same problem, your original battery has a two year warranty. My dealer called and told me it was 175 or something to replace, I told him the battery itself says two years on it. A couple hours later I got a call to come pick up my bike. Brand new battery, no charge. That was at like 22,or 23 months
