Nothing too crazy for now on mods. Besides the bars, in the short term I'm looking at a paint matched tsport repop fairing, bassani road rage (most likely the chrome one, steering away from black on this build), PC5, then addressing the suspension. Want to add some cornering clearance and address the softness of the front end. Not sure exactly where I'm going with that yet.
Basically, I want this bike to be a nice, solid, comfortable commuter with some get-up-and-go for the day-to-day, but be able to hit the twisties on the weekend.

I can usually keep up with most of the guys on the sportbikes. The front brakes help alot, but when trying to keep up with the sportbike guys with some legitimate skills, I get left behind as the weight doesn't allow me to brake as late as those guys and still make the turns. It still great fun though. The other HDs I run into usually just hold me up. I have been with some other club style guys that haul the mail though.

The Street Bob was offered a few years back in Voodoo Purple. Great color. Whatever color my next LR or LR S will be it will be something other than black.

Looking forward to the pics. I liked the green and orange colors that were offered on the 2015s and the purple and blue colors that was offered on the 2016s. Of all the colors so far, I would have went with the red.

I really want to paint mine. It is on my list.

What color? You could go with a color that has never been offered on the LR like yellow or gold or brown.

Been riding all weekend. Next week looks good for commuting to work. Should be at 12000 miles by weeks end.

Just did a bit over 900 miles, since Friday. Had to get the LRS to the beach one last time before hibernation.

Where are you at milage wise, HDConvert511? It takes me about three good weeks of riding to get that kind of mileage.

Got the bars on this weekend. Lucky Dave's Lucky 13 bars with Magnum cable kit. So much better, feel like I'm at home on this bike now. Next will be fairing of some sort, exhaust/tuner, and suspension work, not necessarily in that order...
