I'm not really concerned about resale value. I bought this bike knowing full well that I was going to dig into it heavily. I didn't buy the bike for investment purposes. Else I would have put my money into something else besides a vehicle.

I know where you are coming from though.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for answering my questions and hope you rides safe.

Congrats man! I'm toying with the idea of getting rid of mine as well.

Picked up my bike from the dealer friday road it for a gorgeous weekend and brought it back Monday morning for the recall. They said the parts would be in that day and they weren't (well at least not for my bike). But they did get it done yesterday. I have the bike back now. Thinking about selling it. If I do I'll have some aftermarket parts to sell.

LOL, you don't want to know. Let's put it this way... it's not a Harley. But it's not a Scooter either LOL.

LOL...I like my LR and plan to keep it for awhile, but if I ever sell or trade it, it won't be for another Harley.

My next bike will either be a LR S or a LR CVO 117 (something I hope HD offers for 2017 or 18).

made a little self fab engine guard

you could tell it's inspired by bung king.

a lil scared of scrapping, but so far nothing and I'm riding the usual way.

Used mild steel and re-infornced plate for stability!

plan on keeping my LR for a long time, it is such a fun motorcycle to ride, would possibly trade it if HD were to come out with the sport glide again.

that is a nice fabricating job, only thing I would be concerned about is if it is mounted very low and did contact the blacktop could cause a spill.
