I took a day off today. I went exploring on Justine (my LR). I drove to my birth town. I lived there for my first 26 years. I haven't been back until today, 20 years later.
Here are some picks I took along the way.
I worked at the local cotten mill to put myself through school. It was hard times for me and my family, but definitely worth it.
Here is a group picks from my old high school football stadium and now rotting elementary school.
The last is a painting on a wall in a nearby town.
It was a great stress reliever!

Very cool, SquishyLowRider. No better way to go back to your home town than to roll in on a new LR.

I just pulled my header pipe and gutted the cat this evening. I'm having it welded back together tomorrow for $30. I will be running the catless header with a V&H slip-on. Next will be A/C and PCV from fuel moto.

Thanks for posting, Greatscott. I had never seen the inside of the exhaust like that before.
Some creative exhaust mods going on.

FP3 installed and the first thing I noticed is throttle is more responsive/drive-ability.
Other things are less heat from engine and CAT.
Going to run a couple of tanks of gas through it before I tell it I have a different air filter. Going to keep the OEM housing for now.

Looking forward to your report, SquishyLowRider. I have not seen much on tuning to improve stock exhaust or A/C.
Been a long 7-8 days since I last rode. Dying to get out but the weather in N IL has been very un-spring like.

We've had some cooler weather ourselves, plus some heavy wind. I thought we were done with this stuff down here, but at least it's ride-able. I don't see how you guys up north do it. It would drive me crazy.
